Ah..... Saturday morning. God's reward for a long week. A cool breeze off the bay wafts across the sheets. Eyes still heavy with sleep, I roll over to better hear the gentle, soothing voice of this man I adore.
I've known him for years, but we're only together early on Saturday morning. And I do love him. He's so bright, sensitive, and evocative. He makes me laugh and sometimes cry. I value his insights, but treasure his objectivity. He's wise but not preachy. Funny but not banal. Sweet but not cloying. Perfect.
